This garment does not provide abrasion or impact protection on its own. It is a premium outer shell, intended for use over Knox armoured shirts or jackets for complete motorcycle protection.
The Knox Dual Pro 3-In-1 jacket comes with two layers able to be worn in three ways: as two separate jackets or together as one warm and water-resistant lifestyle jacket. The soft-shell outer jacket detaches easily from the inner thermal layer, to cleverly accommodate temperature changes throughout the year. Featuring a 10K laminated membrane that assists with water resistance and allows for breathability, the soft-shell outer fabric is then backed with a cosy micro fleece to allow moisture vapour to escape, which, in turn, helps regulate temperature while elevating comfort inside the garment. The inner thermal quilt layer is made from Thermolite® Plus, an ultra-light performance insulation made with durable, hollow fibres that creates an insulating layer of warm air within the garment. This has been proven to keep the rider warm even in the most demanding of riding conditions. Both the jacket and the inner quilt are easily attached together to allow both garments to move comfortably with the wearer.
The Dual Pro Men’s three-in-one jacket has been stylishly designed to fit over any style of Knox armoured shirt (sold separately), so that the protective armoured shirt can be worn all year round. Adapting the armoured shirt to suit a colder environment works perfectly if you add a Dual Pro. The armoured shirt is thus transformed from a hot-weather riding shirt to a full motorcycle jacket that can be worn throughout the year.
