The Racing 5 Leather Jacket represents the newest generation of Dainese’s popular Racing line, created for riders who enjoy summer and fair-weather trips.It offers a sleek yet regular fit and is crafted from premium 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide.
Special attention has been given to ergonomics, with studies focused on riding posture. Features such as the Veloce Racing Neck collar ease pressure around the neck, while large S1 stretch panels and hip adjusters maximize freedom of movement and comfort.
Comfort is matched by safety. Certified to the EN 17092 class AA standard, the Racing 5 includes CE Level 2 protectors at the shoulders and elbows, plus replaceable aluminum shoulder sliders designed to encourage smoother sliding in a fall. It also has dedicated pockets for optional G-type back and chest protectors.
The jacket is engineered to work seamlessly with the Dainese Smart Air airbag system without requiring an upsized fit. The tailored sleeve design keeps protectors in place during impacts, while integrated loops make it easy to attach or remove the Smart Air device with one motion, ensuring it always sits correctly beneath the jacket.
For adaptability across conditions, the jacket comes with a waterproof inner pocket to keep electronics safe in wet weather. Ventilation openings on the chest and side exhaust zippers provide airflow during hotter rides, enhancing comfort during high-temperature sessions.

The circumference of the chest is the maximum measurement taken around the chest when standing upright and breathing normally. The tape measure is passed around the chest at the level of the shoulder blades, below the armpits.

The circumference of the neck is measured about 2 cm below the Adams apple at the seventh cervical vertebra.

The circumference of the waist is measured by passing the tape measure on the waistline between the ribs and the pelvis just above the hip bones. Take the measurement when standing upright and breathing normally with the abdomen relaxed.
