It matches the optical standard of the shield supplied with the helmet: optical Class 1 clarity with a double-sided anti-scratch treatment to resist everyday wear. An internal anti-fog coating and UV protection are built in from the factory.The shield comes prepared for a Pinlock 120XLT Max Vision anti-fog lens, with the mounting pins already in place. The Pinlock lens itself is sold separately. Posts for tear-offs are also included on the shield, though tear-off strips are sold separately. Visor changes are tool-free using the S-R7's quick-release mechanism.This shield also fits the Supertech R10 helmet, but there is an important compatibility note: the Pinlock lens and tear-offs designed for this shield are specific to the S-R7 and will not fit a Supertech R10 face shield.
